Hand-Grade Strapping Solutions

 Hand-Grade Polypropylene

Hand-Grade Polypropylene

Polypropylene Strapping is easy to use, economical, strong and half the weight of steel strapping.

  • Weather resistant.
  • No sharp edges make this strapping safe to use
  • Split resistant, helping to prevent pilferage
  • Embossed strapping provides added flexibility
  • Great for light loads.
  • Available in varied sizes and strengths to fit your needs
 Polyester Strapping

Polyester Strapping

Polyester strapping, also known as PET strapping, is used when regular polypropylene strapping isn't strong enough to get the job done.

  • Most commonly resembles steel strapping in its physical characteristics.
  • Can withstand higher tensioning than other plastic strapping up to 25% high, with equivalent break strengths.
  • Retains tension on rigid loads better than other non-metallic strapping.
  • Virtually unaffected by weather or ultraviolet rays.
  • Significantly lower in cost than steel strapping, while also safer to use and easier to dispose of.
Hand-Grade Polyester Cord

Polyster Cord Strapping

Cord strapping is light weight, portable and requires one tool to tension and cut. There are 5 different types of cord strapping to consider:

  • Bonded (non-woven): Inexpensive solution for bundling and securing a wide variety of items.
  • Hotmelt: Second generation of non woven, bonded with hot glue. Smooth surface and more resistant to splitting.
  • Woven: Provides additional bi-directional strength and split resistance.
  • Composite: Coated with clear polypropylene for added water resistance and improved handling/threading
  • Lashing: Woven type strap, strongest cord strapping with highest break strength.
Buckles and Seals for Cord Strapping

Buckles and Seals for Cord Strapping

Buckles are used to achieve proper joint strength with many sizes available to accommodate the cord strapping type applied:

  • Phosphate Buckles: For bonded and all woven cord strapping
  • Galvanized Buckles: For composite cord strapping
  • Ladder Buckles: For lashing and heavy-duty cord strapping
